Film Photography

This is a continuous double exposure. I went though the roll of film, then once it was done I took the tail back out, cut a new one and put it back through the camera so the photo wouldn't align with the first photos taken.

This photogram is based off of travel. This was produced in January and February of 2020 and had gone to London in October of 2019. I used some papers and bags to create this image.

This is a photo of a sculpture at Como Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul, MN. I hadn't noticed this before and though it might look interesting with black and white film.

This photo was taken at Como Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul, MN. When looking up at one of the benches I saw the dome. It was just something different that I had noticed while sitting.

This photo was going to be for a photography project that had unfortunately had to change to digital photography due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I only managed to print this photo before being sent home with out time for more film photography.

This photo was based on abstraction. I wanted to try something I never thought of before. I decided to do a 10 second exposure while spinning and zooming the lens in and out. I didn't have any expectations of how it would turn out, but it was enterta

This is the carousel at the Como Zoo and Conservatory. It is one of the oldest ones in the state, so I thought it would be important to show what a photo would look like back when it was first built.

This Singer Sewing Machine is one that my grandmother inherited.

This Singer Sewing Machine is one that my grandmother inherited. This photo however, focuses more in the negative space between the sewing machine and the photo.

This Singer Sewing Machine is one that my grandmother inherited. This photo focuses more on the deep contract between the sewing machine itself and its shadow.

This is a photo of tree with Christmas lights covered in snow. It was one that can only occur in winter in Minnesota and I was excited to have fresh snow for the photo.
